ARTEMIS made a stop in Rovinj, Croatia on June 26 and 27 to join the network of the Natural Heritage Mission of the Interreg Euro-MED and discuss topics related to communication, amplification, and policy. It was also the occasion to celebrate the Europe Maritime Day.
ARTEMIS (Accelerating the Restoration of Seagrass Meadows in the Mediterranean area through Innovative ecosystem-service based Solutions) is an innovative project aims at promoting the conservation and recovery of seagrass meadows in the Mediterranean, highlighting their crucial role in marine ecosystems and their ability to provide vital ecosystem services.
ARTEMIS In the Rovinj’s days Arnaud Terrisse, project manager and lead partner at Plan Bleu, presented ARTEMIS and its policy ambitions. ARTEMIS concentrates on refining policy frameworks to more effectively incorporate ecosystem services into national and regional policies. Meanwhile, in the realm of communication—presented by Giulia Eremita, Chief Communication Officer—the project is dedicated to broadening engagement and garnering increased support for seagrass restoration initiatives.
